Great news – after seeing Clara Tuma’s KVUE story about our new usage of 6 of the city’s open dog cages at TLAC, an anonymous donor gave us $15,000!

$10,000 will be used to open the new dog adoption site at the Balcones Woods PetSmart.  The dogs at the site will stay in 6 of TLAC’s cages overnight and will go out to this adoption site every day.

The other $5,000 is going to be used for a new cat adoption site.  We’re working out the details now about this site.

This donation will save over 500 lives per year!
