Connor is a huge man cat (10 lbs), with long, shiny black fur and blazing yellow eyes, and he's so very gentle and sweet. If there is a lap to be found, Connor will be taking full advantage of it! He loves to keep you company and wants to be touching you any chance he gets, he will even hug your arm - just check out his pictures! He is an amazingly chill and flexible guy and can adjust to new environments and new animals easily. Very little fazes him.
He loves affection, cuddling, grooming and tummy rubs. He'll curl up in your lap, hug and lick your arm any chance he gets. He is very low maintenance in his behavior, has excellent litter box habits, comes when he is called, and always uses his cat scratching post (he has NEVER scratched any furniture!). He had some tummy issues for awhile, but we've pinpointed the problem as a food allergy. We have now found the right food (Prescription Royal Canin Hypoallergenic) and some supplements that are working great, making Connor a happy cat! It will be very important for his adopter to be sure to continue with this diet regimen. It's also very important that there not be any food (other than his food) left out unmonitored for him to get into, so if you have other pets and/or kids, this is a small but important piece of info to take into consideration. Connor is a special-needs kitty who needs and deserves a special home. His loving personality and cuddles are MORE than worth the small amount of extra effort required to help him stay healthy. And to make things even easier for his adoptive family, non-emergency maintenance vet care for his food allergies will continue to be covered by APA at no charge.
