His bright emerald eyes are set in contrast to his dark black fur, and anyone who sees him is enticed to come forward and pet him.

Romeo, as they call him, is a five-year old male cat who dually possesses solid muscle and the soft fur of a cuddly companion. He's laid back, affectionate, and mellow, and enjoys having his big head scratched. He loves to hang out near you and be petted, and likes to play when he's not relaxing. Romeo likes to come out and say hello while still having his own space. He often likes to poke his head of a cubby hole and watch everything going by. Romeo has been described as low-energy, and his laid back demeanor and relaxed disposition are his strong suit: Romeo would do well in a variety of homes, and is expected to adapt well to a family with a dog, cat, or children.

In regards to his habits and health, Romeo is a great cat. He hardly meows, has good litter manners, doesn't spray, and is very clean. He doesn't scratch and he's also neutered. It's recommended that Romeo be an indoor-only cat. One thing to know about Romeo is that he is FIV+, but it sounds much worse than it is! FIV+ is an immune compromising disease, which just means that Romeo can get sick more easily than other cats. The disease isn't transmitted to humans or dogs, and would only be passed to other cats through deep puncture wounds, which isn't expected to happen with Romeo! FIV+ cats have pretty close to normal life spans, so Romeo is a great cat to adopt. For lots more info you can go here: http://www.bestfriends.org/theanimals/petcare/cats_fiv.cfm

Romeo gets along well with everyone, and his big fluffy head is irresistible. Come see his enchanting eyes, feel his softy, fluffy fur, and see what a great companion Romeo can be. Just like in Shakespeare's infamous play, this Romeo is just looking for some love-and a family to furrever call home!

All APA! foster kittens/cats are litter box trained, tested for FeLV/FIV, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for worms/fleas, microchipped and come with a 30-day health insurance plan.
