A chipper senior citizen, Hawk is happy, well behaved and full of life. He loves to socialize with everyone he meets.

As a mature dude, he has a few health issues, including some heart complications, teeth problems and likely is hard of hearing. Those don't slow him down. He holds his head high and adapts well to new situations and new people.

It should be noted that Hawk has tested positive for heartworms. It's a treatable condition, and the cost is included in the adoption fee. You can read about heartworm treatment here: http://www.austinpetsalive.org/heartworms/

Hawk is an affectionate, sweet and goofy cuddle bug, snuggling with his people as long as they like. And he's a quiet non-barky boy who loves taking walks.

Hawk has many good years left to spend giving all his love to a deserving person who will return that love and give him the care he needs. Come meet Hawk and see if that's you.

And remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team.
