Bottle Baby Kittens

Feeding
Take a look at some of our youngest bottle babies. These little ones were brought to us when they were only two days old! Many times people find kittens with or without a mother and bring them in to Town Lake Animal Center. TLAC doesn’t have the resources to provide round the clock care to these tiny newborn so they immediately hand them over to APA! We keep them in our trailer on South Congress where wonderful volunteers look after them until they start eating on their own.

These kittens need to be fed every 2 hours and have to constantly keep up their body temperature.

Right now the Baby Bottle Trailer is not very busy because it isn’t kitten season right now. But come springtime we’ll be receiving several litters a week!

If you’d like to volunteer to help our smallest pets visit our volunteer page to learn more.
