Tonight’s AAC meeting – Low cost spay/neuter

by austinpetsalive • Posted in: Awareness/ PR

The next Special Meeting of the Animal Advisory Commission is tonight. The AAC will continue discussing ways to reduce intake and will focus on low cost spay/neuter. Austin is lucky to already have Emancipet and Animal Trustees of Austin who provide these services to pet owners.

That’s not to say that Austin couldn’t use more of these resources (especially for rescuers) and that’s what the AAC will discuss tonight.

This is the third to last meeting that the AAC will conduct before it prepares its plan to submit to City Council on how Austin can become a no-kill city.

The meeting is at the Austin Energy Building, 721 Barton Springs, in the First Floor Assembly Room. Free parking is available in the parking garage behind the Austin Energy Building.
