The Hightower – Night out!: April 2nd at 5PM
Join APA! at The Hightower on April 2nd where a percentage of food proceeds will go to our life saving efforts! Bring your dog and join us on the patio for a relaxing evening of food and drink!

Jo’s 15th Annual Easter Pet Parade: April 19th from noon – 2PM
It’s a South Congress Easter weekend tradition. If Fido’s a fierce competitor, register in the costume contest….if just getting weird is more Spot’s speed, registration is not required to join the parade down South Congress with a marching band and a motley crew of animals in outfits. Festive human attire also encouraged, merriment guaranteed.

5th Annual Pints for Pups at Independence: April 19th from noon-3PM

Zumbathon: April 19th from noon-2PM
Let’s Dance Fitness is hosting a ZUMBATHON! (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds) Please join some of Austin’s most talented Zumba instructors, enthusiasts and animal lovers! All proceeds will benefit Austin Pets Alive! and Lizzy’s Hospice House.

Kung Fu Drink for a Cause: April 22nd from 4PM-?
Tuesdays are rough. Come to Kung Fu Saloon after work for a pick-me-up! 15% of drink sales go directly to saving the lives of companion animals in Austin. So, there’s your excuse skip the gym.

Bark in the Park: April 24th
Take me your dog out to the ballgame! The Round Rock Express are hosting another Bark in the Park and APA! will be centrally located at the gate behind home plate. Come meet some adoptable dogs, like Socks!

101X Annual Mutt Putt: April 26th at 10AM
It’s back! 101X’s Trevin on the Radio hosts the 3rd Annual Mutt Putt at the Met Center, South Austin. Register your team of 4 to play in our disc golf tournament that features different challenges at every hole! Team entrance fee is $101, with proceeds going to Austin Pets Alive. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as awesome swag bags, soft drinks, and beer for 21+.

Fur & Film Festival: April 27th from 11AM-7PM
Alamo Drafthouse on Slaughter Ln. will be screening three different animal-themed movies throughout the day with a proceeds for the screenings going to APA!. One of the movies may involve a spaghetti, a lady and a not-so-gentleman like dog…

Austin Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale: April 26th
Come on out and enjoy some vegan treats! Gluten-free options available. 100% of the Proceeds will Benefit Austin Pets Alive!. Last year over $2,000 was raised and we want to see that number DOUBLE!
This year’s location: Wheatsville Food Co-op- South (4001 S. Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78704 ) in the community meeting space!
