Since he was picked up Christopher has been painful in his rear end and it’s because he has some serious orthopedic problems.
In both Christopher’s rear legs the kneecaps are moving in and out of place. this is called a luxating patella. In his right knee the patella is permanently out of place and he cannot bear any weight on that leg. In his right leg the patella is out of place more often than in, causing his to appear bow legged and painful.
On top of this condition Christopher also has tendon tears (cruciate or dog ACL) in both legs.
Christopher is on several pain medications and is being taken care of by the medical staff. He currently does not have a foster home.
Donating NOW to Christopher will get him closer surgery and closer to living a happy life. Christopher is very sweet and loves for people to pet and love on him and our goal is to give him the best life possible!
