KVUE did another story on Phoenix last night. You can see how he’s doing, along with video of him walking here. Many thanks to Clara Tuma of KVUE for covering this story!
this incident happened not far from my house and i have been in tears since i first heard. my heart goes out to this puppy and all the great people who are taking care of him now. he is very lucky to have dr. ellen and cameron. im familiar with the mommy of this puppy and have taken a personal take on this situation. my prayers are non stop and i think about phoenix 24 hours a day. shame on the person responsible for his injuries
It’s so great to see him up and about. Is his brain damage permanent? I hope his vision can be restored. He sure deserves to be able to live a normal dog life. Y’all have gone to such lengths to save him – you must be a very compassionate group of folks. All cities should have an organization like yours.
You believe that every life matters. Help us Keep Austin No-Kill.
He looks beefy and tough on the outside, but he's a sensitive soul who is just looking for love.
