Champ was transferred from Town Lake Animal Center to Austin Pets Alive! yesterday afternoon because he is paralyzed and requires treatment and hopefully a recovery.  The veterinary staff is not entirely sure yet what his prognosis is, but we do know he needs medication immediately to give him some relief.  Please consider a donation towards Champ’s medication costs and we will keep you updated as to what other possible treatment he may require.  Thank you so much!

My wife and I used to work with Operation Greyhound and helped save a few abused Greyhounds over the years before I was injured in an accident on my motorcycle. Though I had to quit, I still have a soft spot for any dog needing help. I donated $20 to Champ but the ChipIn site didn’t work very well. I had to try 3x before it worked (and I am VERY computer/internet literate). I would hate to see you lose funds because of a setting somewhere and I wanted to let you know there might be a problem.

I don’t have a bunch of money so $20 is a lot to me. If you need more I have quite a few contacts and can help raise more. Let me know what you require. Good luck and please post updates on Champ’s status.
