“Shelter” documentary now available to view online

“Shelter” is a documentary about homeless pets in Austin and how APA! is working towards the goal of a no-kill city. The film is now available to watch on-line! It’s only 17min long and will definitely remind you of why we all continue to work for the lives of these pets every day.

Please take a few moments out of your evening to watch this close-up account of the lives lost, saved and touched at TLAC.

I have volunteered with APA but haven’t been active lately. This was one of the best and one of the most horrible film clips I have seen. I knew Town Lake was not helping our homeless, strays, owner surrendered, etc. animals as much as they could but this brought me to tears.

Thank you to the folks at UT that put this together. I wish it could get out to more folks in the community so they could see how we are failing the innocent animals that, through no fault of their own, are being euthanized. It just breaks my heart!
