Congratulations to Miki Tesh, Austin Pets Alive’s December Volunteer of the Month!!!

Miki has been with APA through many ups and downs! She kick-started the Wing Dawgs and Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer programs into what they are now. Miki is constantly at TLAC fixing kennel cards, making sure things look nice and beautiful. She’s a constant advocate for APA online and in person, helps the public when they are in need, and fights for what she believes is right! In the last few months we’ve been really low on leashes and she even created a leash drive for the dog team!

Miki engages everyone she meets from volunteer to the general public. She gives extra support to the adoption counselors and even helps marketing promote the dogs to find homes. She gives so much of her time to help the animals of APA and always does it with a smile on her face! We are so grateful to everything she does!! Thank you Miki!!
