Joanna brings over 25 years of executive experience in operations and technology, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for a high-growth PropTech start-up. She builds and scales operational infrastructure for complex organizations, including establishing client-facing teams from the ground up, and driving performance and business results. Her work across revenue management, business intelligence, and client experience technologies inform her approach to using data and systems to align people and processes. Today, as founder of a boutique consultancy, she advises organizations on how to redesign workflows and strengthen execution, including the use of AI to reduce friction and unlock capacity.
At Austin Pets Alive!, Joanna serves as Co-Chair of the Board and Chair of the Earned Revenue Committee and is helping lead the redevelopment of the Town Lake Animal Center campus. She focuses on identifying revenue opportunities, strengthening operational infrastructure, and positioning the organization to scale its impact.
Joanna began volunteering with Austin Pets Alive! in 2009. In 2010, the organization saved her dog MJ from the euthanasia list – an experience that cemented her long-term commitment to APA!’s No Kill mission and continues to shape her dedication to advancing lifesaving outcomes for animals in Austin.
