Mindy brings extensive executive leadership in human resources to Austin Pets Alive!, having most recently served as Chief People Officer at NBG-Home. Her career includes holding senior HR roles at Amplify Snack Brands, The Hershey Company, Samsung Electronics America, and IBM. She specializes in talent strategy and organizational development within high-growth and global environments. Mindy holds a Master’s degree in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resource Management and International Finance from Louisiana State University.
Currently dedicated to community service, Mindy focuses her time on volunteer leadership with Austin Pets Alive! and Art From The Streets. Mindy serves as Secretary of the APA! Board and co-chairs the Governance Committee. In addition, she is President of the Board for Art From the Streets and a member of the Board of Trustees for Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA).
Since moving to Austin in 2018, she has been deeply involved with APA!, serving as a lead volunteer in the Parvo ICU. Her commitment to the mission is further reflected in her personal life, as she is an APA! adopter and foster. She remains passionate about applying her professional expertise to strengthen the organization and advance its lifesaving work.
