Stacy is laid-back, gorgeous, and cool. She has a friendly temperament and makes sure she gets her beauty sleep. She won't settle into your lap for petting, but she definitely loves for you to pet her! She does well with children, and would probably prefer a home with a family who was around more often than not; she is independent, but she appreciates attention and company. Stacy loves humans, but is not a fan of other cats, so would do best as the only feline in the home.
Stacy is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Stacy is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bestfriends.org/Resources/FAQs-About-Feline-Leukemia-Virus-FeLV/
Stacy makes the cutest purr-chirp sound when she wants your attention; for example, when she is looking for interaction with you or if her food dish is empty. You have to hear it for yourself - there aren't the right letters in the alphabet to spell it!
Stacy will make someone a great companion cat, so contact us today if she sounds perfect for you!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
