Black beauty Bindy found herself in a bad bind. The dog in her previous home didn't like her, so Bindy was kept in a dog crate much of the time there. Her previous owner then decided to surrender her to the shelter. The change meant an even more confined living space along with an extra scary environment. Fortunately, this docile, precious princess got out of that pickle. She landed herself a primo place in a foster home-- her relief was palpable! On her very first day there she couldn't get enough pets and comfort, and relished every head scratch. She even rolled over for a celebratory belly rub! It's become one of her favorite places to get lovin' ever since.
Now that Bindy is free to be, her greatest pleasure is people. She absolutely loves being petted, giving head butts and curling up right next to you. If you wave around wand toys, Bindy adores hunting and capturing them! Did you notice her pretty tail tip and her not-like-the-others paw? They look like they've been dipped in white paint...extra cute!
Bindy has shown a friendly interest towards the resident cat in her foster home. The feeling has not been reciprocated since that kitty is the dominant, jealous type. But, we do know that Bindy gets along nicely with other kitties. She happily wrestled and snuggled with ones she spent time with in her past. She would enjoy a home with a feline buddy. But, being an only cat would be fine too. Bindy has spent time with dogs and was not bothered by them.
Bindy doesn't like a lot of ruckus in her world, so she'd probably do best in a quieter home with adults only or that includes older kids who understand that she flourishes around calm and gentle people. We'd love to see her welcomed into a loving home where she never feels second best again. If you're just the person to love her and to let her know she's number one every day, contact us to meet Bindy today!
