Curious, Vocal, Outgoing

Meet Muji, a beautiful orange boy whose natural curiosity and affectionate spunk are sure to sweep you off your feet!

Muji loves sitting on your lap to be petted and brushed, and he also enjoys playing with toys that don't roll away from him (such as wand toys). He is a very well-behaved young man who answers when called or spoken to but who is relatively soft-spoken and not excessively vocal otherwise. He gets very excited about his food and will eagerly run over to greet you at meal time.

Muji has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means that he feels a bit off-balance and therefore moves by limping/flip-flopping around (see below for a more detailed description of this easily manageable condition). However, Muji is still able to use the litter box on his own and eat with very little help from his foster mom.

Having been returned to APA! once by unprepared adopters, Muji needs an adult who understands and appreciates his special needs. Feline Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition that causes balance issues. CH cats were born like this and usually wobble or have a funny gait; some cats have a minor imbalance and some are very wobbly! Cats with minor to moderate CH require no special care, or only minor accommodation, like avoiding stairs. Cats adopted from APA! with CH must be kept indoors only. CH cats have the same lifespan as other cats. For more information, please visit: lifewithchcats.com.

Muji is a true sweetheart deserving of a loving forever family. He will grace you every day with his lovable personality, his unique quirks, and his affectionate purrs. From what his foster mom can tell, Muji is great with other cats, but an ideal home for him would not include children.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
