Playful, sweet, friendly

Any self respecting cat has a favorite toy they love to chase. You know: String, feathered. Balls, jingly. Mouse, catnip. But for this two-year-old calico, the preference is: Tail, Sally's. Yep, Sally's her name, her tail is her game. Not that she won't chase anything else, including other cats, but it's so much easier when that elusive plaything is built right in.

As if to highlight this special relationship, Sally's main calico marking is...her tail. The rest of her is white, white and more white. She's is a striking lass. She's also fastidious and clearly appreciates a clean litter box. If it isn't up to snuff, she might leave you a message on the outside of the box.

Having recently discovered that her scratching posts can be every bit as satisfying as that rug over there, she is still transitioning from the one to the other.

Sally does require daily medication to control seizures from idiopathic (having no specific cause) epilepsy. Apart from that she's as healthy as a cat-size horse.

Dogs and children are still a question mark in Sally's life, but because she's so playful with other cats, while being respectful of their boundaries, we suspect she'd do well with similarly inclined housemates of any species.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
