Like his namesake Nick Fury, this Nick only has one eye, which gives him a jaunty look but causes no pain. Shy for a bit until he gets to know you, once you're friends, you will discover that he's a chatty kitty who loves to carry on a conversation with you. He also LOVES his cat toys. If you will play with him with his toys, you will become his friend in short order. Nick Furry is also independent, though, and will happily play with his toys alone when you're too busy.
This little fellow adores the company of other kitties and would be happiest in a home with at least one other cat to cuddle and play with. He'll melt your heart with his loving grooming and snuggles that he imparts to the other kitties. Nick Furry would do best in a home without dogs or small children as he is easily frightened. Nick's ideal home would be quiet and stable, with another FeLV+ kitty for company, and lots of toys and pets from his special human. He'll reward you with lots of love!
Nick Furry is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Nick Furry is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats.
