Although Rue is a fully-grown 1.5 year old kitty, she is so tiny that she still looks like a kitten! Her neck is so short that she reminds you of those egg-shaped Russian dolls. Her broken tail gives her an edgy, alley-cat vibe that is hilariously inconsistent with her otherwise adorable, lovable self. Her round little face is so cute that when she yawns, it will bring you to your knees. When you hold her like a baby, she'll look up at you with those huge eyes and you'll never want to put her down. This girl is the next cat-video star waiting to burst onto the scene!
Rue still has that kittenish love of playing with anything and everything - toys, paper bags, her other foster cat buddy, whatever. When she plays, she plays full-out, but when the game is over, she's a total sunbather and couch potato.
She is such a sweet, loving girl. She snuggles with her foster kitty buddy every night and licks him to sleep. If you're sitting or lying down anywhere, she'll be near you. She's not a lap cat and doesn't really enjoy being picked up and held, but she definitely loves to be petted and stroked - she can be initially shy, so just give her time. She's pretty quiet, and only meows when it's mealtime.
Rue's ideal home would have another cat for her to play and cuddle. We haven't seen her with dogs or young kids, but think she might do best with no dogs and older, cat-savvy kids.
If you are looking for an adorable, tiny, lovable perma-kitten, Rue might be perfect for you!
