Madison is a spunky little cuddle-bug with beautiful calico colors! She has feline cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition that causes balance issues. CH cats were born like this and usually wobble or have a funny gait; some cats have a minor imbalance and some are very wobbly! Cats with minor to moderate CH require no special care, or only minor accommodation, like avoiding stairs. Cats adopted from APA! with CH must be kept indoors only. CH cats have the same lifespan as other cats. For more information, please go here -

Madison has a determined kitten attitude that keeps her adventurous; she has recently learned to climb up onto the sofa - hooray, Madison! A house with stairs is definitely out, however. She may not walk like non-CH cats, but she can scoot around in record time. She can eat, drink, and use the litter box all by herself!

Madison has been socialized with kids, dogs, and other cats. Her ideal home would be safe, with a sensitive and caring family who can help her burn some kitten energy - danger-free, of course - and give her affection and snuggle time! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
