Luna is a very sweet, gentle, affectionate kitty when she's in a calm environment where she feels safe. She has perfect litter box manners and loves her carpeted scratching post. She likes to be brushed and will let you trim her nails with minimal fuss. She'll even ride in the car (in a carrier, of course) without crying!
Even though she's a mature kitty, she still likes to play, especially with string toys and laser pointers. She likes to hang out in high places, probably because she feels safer there.
Luna is afraid of other cats and dogs. She will hiss, swat, or run away if they approach her. She's OK with kids as long as they are gentle and respectful. Since she's fearful of loud noises and fast movements, she wouldn't do well with young children.
Poor Luna has been in the shelter since the end of June, and she's just so unhappy to be around all those other kitties and lots of visitors who can be loud. We think she will blossom and thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can be your one and only kitty love! She's be such a great, easy companion for an adult who wants a sweet lovable kitty who's happy to do her own thing when you're busy.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
