Xavier has had a rough go of it. He was hit by a car before finding his foster home so he is understandably a bit traumatized. Despite his rough past, he is making great strides in foster. He used to hide and deny affection but after only 2 weeks he is out of hiding and will even accept head pets.
Xavier isn't exactly social, but he is tolerant of just about everything. He tolerates other cats and dogs as long as they don't invade his space. He isn't crazy about play time because some toys frighten him.
Xavier is happiest when curled up for a cat nap or when he's eating - like most cats! That being said, his ideal home would be pretty laid-back and willing to let him do his own thing. With some patience and love, Xavier will be on his way to being an excellent house kitty.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
