Laid-back, Affectionate, Independent

Bun is a lady that plays hard to get. She may act like she doesn't want your attention, but when she thinks you aren't paying attention she'll snuggle right up to you on the couch, at the foot of your bed, or even in your lap in a chair.

Like most cats, Bun is an avid napper. She also loves exploring around the house for perches to nap on - desks, chairs, couches, etc. Her favorite place to relax is a windowsill - she can sit and watch the cars and squirrels all day.

Bun hasn't really gotten a chance to know her fellow foster home cats quite yet, so she isn't sure how she feels about them. She would probably do fine with a quiet house mate who kept to itself or as an only pet. Bun's ideal home would have lots of windows for her to gaze pensively out of, and a human companion that needs a cat to warm their lap while working at a desk.

Bun is one of hundreds of cats and kittens that APA! has rescued from the perils of Hurricane Harvey. Most of these kitties are up for adoption and in need of a forever home. The greatest result of a rescue is the creation of loving relationships. Share in this joy with us and adopt a cat or kitten and create your own rescue love story!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
