Tiny, mighty, and extra cuddly!

Rumi is a beautiful, elegant tortoiseshell lady who loves to be in your lap. Rumi is a little hesitant when she first meets new people, but after a day or so all she will want is to be curled up in your lap. She is not a very playful girl. At her stage in life, she's here for the pets! She loves to greet you with a few meows and she will let out a few little grunts when she is exploring and finds something that catches her interest.

Rumi is a tiny, senior kitty who is very friendly and affectionate. She is a polydactyl kitty, which means she has extra toes with which to love you!

Rumi is fine with our cats. Her philosophy is live and let live! Rumi would do well in a chill home with a furrever human who wants a cuddly, lap cat who also understands that Rumi is an older lady with some kidney troubles who needs a special diet. Rumi is a special kitty who will bring joy to whoever brings her home!

Rumi has Chronic Renal Disease, which means her kidneys are not functioning as well as they once were. This condition is so common in older cats that APA! offers a special adoption package for them. Read more about renal failure and adoption details here: http://www.austinpetsalive.org/2016/03/lives-worth-saving-cats-in-renal-failure

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
