Sweet, Playful, Demure

If Bill Monroe could speak, she might sing us a bluegrass ballad to guide us through the story of her past. She's a multidimensional character with a sweet heart of gold that she reserves for calm cat friends and humans who are patient and gentle. Her ballad might explain why she's a bit skittish around sudden movements, doesn't think it's important to cover waste in the litter box, or is slightly food insecure, and then shift to highlighting delight with toy mice, playing with cat friends, lounging on couches, and feeling safe with her humans. Bill does learn from others --- she's becoming less food insecure. She seems particularly influenced by the good behaviors of other cat friends.

Bill may not know much about bluegrass music, but she'll serenade you with a song or two around food time, and she'll rhythmically purr during chin scratches. She's not a fan of being picked up or sitting on laps, but those chin scratches are just the best! Once she feels safe in her home, she'll sit next to you to let you know.

Bill Monroe's ideal home is experienced with cats and has cat friends to positively influence Bill. Bill will likely take time to adapt in her new home, so her humans must be gentle and understanding of her need for space and love. Once she feels safe, Bill has so much love to give.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
