Snuggly, Sweet, Talkative

There is nothing better than coming home from a long day to Baby Girl prancing to meet you at the door, chirping and mewing all the way! Simply put, Baby Girl ADORES her humans. She looks directly into your eyes while making various sounds, which sometimes involves sticking out her tongue a little mid meow --- it's hilariously precious. Occasionally she'll wander around the house and holler out something that sounds exactly like - Hello? - as if hoping to find her humans in other rooms.

When you sit down, it's about T-minus 10 seconds before Baby Girl arrives to join you. She'll chirp her way over, while purring, and then press her forehead into whatever part of your body is closest. She doesn't always want to sit in laps, but she likes to be nearby or to make biscuits on your leg/stomach/arm. Baby Girl is nearly a biscuit-making pro; she'd love to make biscuits for her forever family every day!

Baby Girl also loves toys. She might be a little older, but if you pick up a mouse toy and start tossing it around, her pupils dilate and she goes after it with kitten-like energy. When she's really into it, she'll toss her toys up into the air herself while leaping after them! Vertical scratchers are key for Baby Girl; she loves to offload extra energy onto them. However, she typically spends most of her time lounging around on the couch, bed, pillow, or inside her wool cat cave. She loves soft spaces.

Baby Girl came to APA! after her sole human companion of 10 years passed away, and she's needed some love and space --- that was hard to come by in the shelter --- to grieve and heal. Being in the shelter was a scary time for her, especially because she doesn't tend to get along well with other cats, and so she acted out and was considered to be a challenge. Now that she's in foster, it's clear that she's a love bug.

Baby Girl's ideal forever home is one that has humans who are patient as she becomes accustomed to the new space and provides tons of pets, cuddle time, and loves. Baby Girl would be happiest in a home without children or other dogs or cats.
