Soup is a handsome orange tabby who has a distinctive swirl pattern on his coat that makes him look like a bowl of soup! He is here for your love! Soup is the most cuddly kitty is foster mommy has ever met! He will curl you right next to you while you're doing work and rub his head against your hands for pets. After a while, he'll start to fall asleep and lay right next to you in a little ball! Soup always asks for pets and will rub his head against you asking for me. He will even fall to the ground and roll over for pets!
Soup is a relaxed guy who loves to sleep the day away on a nice bed. When he is feeling frisky, a ball and stick toy can get him going! Soup has not met any other dogs, cats, or kids yet. He can be a little shy when he first meets someone, but if you let him come to you, then he'll be all over you! Soup likes to let you know how is day was! When you come home, he will start chatting and meowing! He'll also let you know when he is hungry!
Soup would do well in a laid-back environment. He does well alone by himself and will thrive in a furrever home where he can get lots of affection from his humans!
Soup has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV related medical care is covered. Soup is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
