"I'm the life of the party." - Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney is no diva. Kourtney is an affectionate girl who loves to cuddle. She loves to be picked up and to cuddle on your shoulder, you may even think that she's turned into a motorboat she'll purr so loud when cuddling.
While Kourtney loves to cuddle, it may take her some time to warm up to you. Initially, she can be a little shy. Until she's fully comfortable in her new surroundings you'll probably find her in one of her favorite hiding places, under your couch. But don't worry, it doesn't take Kourtney too long to come out of her shell.
Kourtney does well with other cats, and she does well with dogs. Again, she might just need some time to get to know them, but once she's buddies with a pup they'll become great playmates.
It's not known how Kourtney would do with kids, but based on her relaxed and easy going personality she would probably do great. She just might need some reassurance that they'll be gentle with her and give her time to get to know them.
Besides purring like a motorboat during cuddle time, Kourtney isn't really a talkative girl. She'll occasionally chime in with a meow here and there to make her opinion known, but that's as chatty as she'll get.
Kourtney is already litter box trained, so she's ready and excited to help make your house a home.
Kourtney has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). It is possible for kittens six months and younger to shed this virus completely and test negative, so Kourtney will be re-tested for FeLV at her six month birthday, at which time a definitive diagnosis can be assured. Until then, Kourtney should live with no other cats or kittens to ensure the virus is not passed. Kourtney is available for adoption now to adopters who can accommodate feline leukemia positive, or negative, cat as she is not yet of age to have a definitive test.
