Friendly - Cuddly - Calm

Myers is a very handsome black and white cat with unique facial markings - he's basically a living piece of abstract art! When asked to describe Myers in three words, his foster mom said "Love on demand". He is a very sweet and social cat who loves to be petted and to receive attention. While he prefers to remain on his own four feet, he readily accepts affection. Myers is easygoing with both kids of all ages and dogs. But even the most relaxed among us have pet peeves - for Myers, it's other male cats. While he can tolerate some felines, Myers has been known to spray and hide when he gets scared or feels threatened. It took some loving kids to coax him out of hiding. So being the only cat would probably be best for Myers. Otherwise, the only requirement for Myers' forever home is a loving human (or two, or three) who will appreciate this bundle of sweetness.

Myers is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Myers is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
