Adorable little Qube just loves to tell you all about his day! He's a playful little guy who will even play with his own tail. He's so sweet and easy-going that he lets his foster mom stuff him into the front pocket of her overalls and carry him around!
At his young age, he is more interested in playing than snuggling! He is pretty independant for a kitten and can keep himself entertained for hours with toys. Just give him a ball and he is happy as a clam! He will let you hold him like a baby for a few seconds, or when he is tired, but for now he just really has more important things to do - like playing!
That isn't to say that Qube does not like attention or affection! He is outgoing, confident and charismatic. He will even try and play with the dogs in his foster home. He gently bats at them and loves when they get right near him! He will come up to you when you get home from work and tell you about his day with a sweet little meow.
Qube gets along well with his fellow foster cats and dogs. We haven't seen him with kids, but we think he'd be fine with them.
Qube has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). It is possible for kittens six months and younger to shed this virus completely and test negative, so Qube will be re-tested for FeLV at his six month birthday, at which time a definitive diagnosis can be assured. Until then, Qube should live with no other cats or kittens to ensure the virus is not passed. Qube is available for adoption now to adopters who can accommodate a feline leukemia positive, or negative, cat as he is not yet of age to have a definitive test.
