Affectionate, Playful, Purrmaster

Father McGruder is a dashing white kitty and a handsome tabby all rolled into one, adorable cuddle machine! He loves to snuggle, and will show you his happiness by purring up a storm. He's playful too, but, just a heads up that when he's having a frolicking good time he sometimes will scratch at things. Always good to be mindful of enthusiastic kitties and their claws! This cutie isn't bashful about speaking up and will let you know what's on his mind or when it's time to eat. You're always welcome to admire and pet his supremely soft fur...the more loving the better!

If you have large quantities of affection to share, Father McGruder is ready to be your furry, friendly sidekick! Contact us to meet him today!

Father McGruder has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). It is possible for kittens six months and younger to shed this virus completely and test negative, so Father McGruder will be re-tested for FeLV at his six month birthday, at which time a definitive diagnosis can be assured. Until then, Father McGruder should live with no other cats or kittens to ensure the virus is not passed. Father McGruder is available for adoption now to adopters who can accommodate a feline leukemia positive, or negative, cat as he is not yet of age to have a definitive test. Father McGruder is from Palm Valley Animal Shelter, as part of APA's ongoing effort to help other communities become no-kill. This effort is both part of and a perfect example of the work that is being done through our new Maddie's Lifesaving Academy, aimed at helping communities across the country build or bolster their own no-kill communities through apprenticeships. For more information or to become involved, see https://bit.ly/2Ii5Qbz.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
