Crumpet has an exotic face, compliments of the Oriental Shorthair part of his genetic makeup - his face is rather long and pointy, and combine that with those green eyes, and he will captivate you! If one look doesn't convince you, then wait until you hear him sing - that's right, he's quite the crooner! He sings for his food, for love and snuggles, and for general communication. (His singing has been compared to Scuttle from the Little Mermaid.)
Crumpet is a happy and friendly boy, appreciates attention, and is in total bliss when you are holding and cuddling him. Sometimes he will play with toys, but if you are around, you are the sun in his sky!
Crumpet is okay with other cats, depending on his mood; sometimes he just wants to be left alone and will tell them so with his voice. Sometimes, he likes to make mischief! He would be fine in a home with another chill cat - and he definitely would be fine as your only kitty. We don't know for sure, but we suspect he'd be great with kids.
Crumpet is looking for a loving home with people he can interact with, a sunny window to sit in, and food. Yes, he's a foodie and is always up for mealtime!
Crumpet wants to be your sweetcake! Contact us today to meet him.
Crumpet has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Crumpet is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
