Lindsay is the classic companion in every way. She has an adventurous spirit and loves to explore new places. While she's mostly calm and restful during the day, she'll always take your lead if you're in the mood to get out for a hike or run. She'll rest her head on your lap if you're relaxing on the couch and is thrilled to cuddle with you if invited onto the bed.

The first thing Lindsay does in the morning is hop up and curl up into a ball next to her foster mom. She knows she has to sleep in her bed throughout the night, but like clockwork, usually just before an alarm goes off to start the day, she jumps ups into bed for a quick cuddle. Lindsay can be a little shy with new people, but she she gets over it pretty quickly and is soon giving kisses and snuggles. Once she gets to know you, she won't pass up an opportunity to sniff your ears (her favorite) and ask for pets by rubbing up against your leg.

Lindsay's also wicked smart and responds well to training and already knows sit, stay, heel, and come. She likes to give high fives and is great at reading your mood and will adjust her energy to the humans she spends the most time around - she can be quiet and calm or playful and active depending on what's going on around her.

Lindsay's always up for an adventure and loves going for walks, but at home she mostly likes to lounge and play with her chew toys or anything that squeaks and especially ones that you can put peanut butter inside. She isn't crazy about being crated, but has done well in a crate while traveling or when she stayed with a trainer.

Loyal, curious, self-assured, confident and loving, Lindsay would make a wonderful addition to an active home with people who will include her on their adventures and give her plenty of outings. A yard to explore and romp in would be a huge plus. Come meet this great pup!
