Check out Sebastian's Videos!

Sebastian loves going on adventures, going for car rides, taking long walks and even just being a couch potato and chilling with his person. He's sweet and playful like a puppy, but mature enough to listen quite well to directions and walks nicely on leash. He loves learning new tricks and one of his specialties is giving on-demand kisses!

Sebastian is the ultimate cuddle bug and promises to let you sleep in if you'll let him share your bed! But he's content to snuggle up in a comfy crate or dog bed if that's your preference.

Sebastian is currently perfecting his home skills in his foster home and has a doggie foster sibling, a social female pup who is slowly teaching him how to dog, and he may be able to live with a well-matched doggy sibling. He's crate-trained and has been very well-behaved in the home once he understood the rules.

Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, but Sebastian also likes sturdy chew toys, food puzzles - pretty much anything he can play with he's a big fan of. This easy-going pup loves soaking up all the pets and attention from his humans and warms up quickly to new people, revealing his wiggly side once they show him some affection.

Sebastian has a ton of spunk and is eager learn what tricks you have up your sleeve, especially if treats are involved! In fact, Sebastian is such a smart pup that he's part of the Total Obedience Program.

The Total Obedience Program (TOP) is modeled after the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. As a TOP dog, he has a personalized training plan and works with a volunteer trainer several times a week to help him learn the skills to become the best dog he can be! He's learning skills like sitting calmly when approached by strangers or other dogs, staying in a sit or down until told "free," and coming when called.

Once Sebastian successfully complete all the skills on his training plan, he will be considered TOP Dog Ready! As a part of APA's Total Obedience Program you can work with APA staff to continue to build a training relationship with him after adoption and we can master all the TOP dog skills together. Check out a video on APA's CGC program, on which the TOP was based:

Sebastian can't wait to find his special someone to take him home. Come meet this great pup!
