Indianapolis is a survivor who's settling into his first loving home and learning what it is like to be a family dog. He's adjusting beautifully to this new and wonderful life, and his fosters say he's just the sweetest and kindest dog ever.

Indy was rescued from a cruelty case and came to his foster home depressed and physically distressed - malnourished and underweight. And his tail stayed between his legs. Today this sweet boy is adapting to his first new human friends, following them around and approaching them for belly rubs. He LOVES to go on walks with them and is great on leash. Indy also lives with nine other dogs and is getting along perfectly with them. He hasn't been seen with cats or kids, but with his calm and gentle nature he should do well with them too.

Indy is being treated with acupuncture and physical therapy, and he allows his therapists to poke, twist and turn his body as much as needed, never objecting or putting up a fight - truly an amazing attitude. And these treatments are paying off dramatically - he has been moving around much better and appears much happier.

Indy will make a wonderful companion to a family who can continue his therapy and ideally one where someone is home much of the time. Indy is so trusting and full of kindness and he deserves a loving home where he can continue to blossom. Come meet the amazing pup!
