Fred is a big love bug, a sweet and happy guy who wants nothing more than to cuddle with his people. This handsome fella has the most soulful eyes to go with that big head, and his foster mom says he reminds her of Eeyore, but with the opposite personality. He loves getting attention and being pet, and he'll put his paw on your leg if you stop and nudge you to keep going.

Mostly mellow but with a bit of active side, Fred walks well on leash - unless he sees another dog, at which point he really wants to go say hi and starts breaking into play bows. We think he'd love another playful dog to romp around with, but he's pretty chill otherwise. Fred can be shy with new men coming into the home, but out and about he's fine with everybody petting him.

Fred does great when left home alone and is happy to sleep on the couch until you return. He's not a big fan of the crate, but he'll go in after a treat and settles down just fine. He sleeps in his crate through the night, and when you wake him up in the morning, he gives you his belly so he can get some belly rubs in before starting the day.

Although he's house-trained, Fred doesn't seem to have much training otherwise, though he does know the word "no" and will bow his head as soon as you say it. He doesn't bark very often unless he needs to let you know something about the outside world.

Handsome, loving and loyal, Fred would make a wonderful addition to a loving home with people who will give him plenty of snuggle time. If you think you can handle all that, come meet this sweet pup!
