"I've been a mama dog too many times. I want a turn to be someone's baby."

Meet MaryLou, a beautiful pocket pittie looking for her forever family. With her soulful eyes, big beautiful head and sweet, quirky personality, this is a tough dog not to love.

Although Marylou's a pretty independent lady, she enjoys cuddling up with her people for naps and is becoming very attached to her foster dad - he pulls her up on his lap to watch TV together, which she loves. She's overall a calm pup to have around with the occasion bursts of playfulness, and while she can't be bothered to chase balls, she enjoys playing with stuffies and rope toys and will never turn down a cow hoof.

MaryLou had a rough life before arriving in her foster home - she had several litters and was found as an emaciated stray. She's since been nursed back to health, and while she's shy with new people, give her a chance to warm up and her sweet and silly personality shines through (Watch her video where she crawls across the carpet to scratch her own tummy. She's so cute!).

Despite her inauspicious beginnings, Marylou has excellent manners in the home, is fully house-trained, does superb left alone inside her crate or out, isn't destructive at all, and she also walks really well on leash.

Marylou would love a home that's as calm and quiet and she is and maybe with someone who likes to rough house once in a while. In return, this sweet girl promises to love you forever. Come meet her!
