Intelligent, Love-bug, Curious

Gabriella LOVES cheek scratches and being pet! And she tells you that by her constant purrs and rubbing all over you and giving you her full attention. She's obviously affectionate, but prefers to be on the floor when you pet her rather than being held. She wants to be around you and will rub, rub, rub, rub to ask for pets!

Gabriella is also obviously gorgeous! Her Siamese white coat with muted calico gray and orange colors, and those stunning blue eyes...! You may swoon now.

But there is waaaaaaay more to Gabriella than her good looks. This lady is SMART. She has an intellectual curiosity, and she needs that intellect stimulated; she doesn't want to sit around all day looking pretty. She will play by herself if you give her an interesting toy (and they are all interesting to Gabriella), but she prefers to play with you and/or with another cat. She blossoms with social interaction and a playful companion - human or feline!

Gabriella can get amped-up when playing, and she might swat or give a nip. She's not being aggressive, she's just having a fun time! So you will want to supervise her around any young children who don't know how to play with an excited kitty. And since Gabriella is basically a genius, you can likely train her out of that behavior over time by gently and patiently redirecting her to a toy.

Gabriella stayed briefly in a home that had other cats, and she was very curious about them and played nice! They didn't care for her so much, but Gabriella was cool about it. No drama.

Gabriella needs some time to get to know you and warm up to her new home, get used to all the sounds, and so on. She is cautious and wants to know that she's safe before interacting with you. Once she knows she's safe (and she can totally be bribed with wet food with gravy!), she's the best companion kitty in the history of ever. Her people need to be patient and kind, and give Gabriella the time and space she needs to settle in. And then she will blow your socks off with her sweetness, playfulness, and smarts! If you can measure love in weight, she will love you a ton, and it's the best.

Gabriella will meow occasionally to get your attention, but she is a very quiet kitty. You might say that Gabriella is not gabby.

Gabriella could live with or without another cat, as long as there were people around to play with her, give her cheek scratches, and love her. Give her time to warm up and she will repay you with her loyalty, purrs, and plenty of rubs!
