Friendly, Affectionate, Shy
If you are looking at this site than look no further! You have just met gorgeous Midnight!
She is a cat that one could bet money on that she would provide companionship to the human who takes her into her forever home. Yes, she is that type of cat!
She may be a little shy at first. She'll need to check out the house and test how caring the human is. After she becomes familiar she is highly affectionate. She'll hang around you and beg to be petted or held. Neck and ear scratches are always welcome.
She is playful and doesn't get over excited or too rough. Watch her play as you toss a ball pass her, or tease her with a wand toy. She's not fussy and likes to play.
She has a purr machine that is frequently turned on. Sometimes she becomes chatty with a raspy voice. Her purring and voice are nice to listen to.

It is unknown her experiences around other cats, dogs or children. Since she is a friendly cat it is likely that with slow, introductions to calm critters and/or gentle children that she could easily adapt into a family.
Midnight has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Midnight can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
Midnight's ideal forever home is with a low traffic, calm family that provides her with attention and love. Other gentle animals are fine as long as another cat is also positive for Feline Leukemia. Please remember that FeLV+ cats must remain indoors.
Check out this gorgeous tortoise-colored kitty.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
