Probable Claws

Loving, Sweet, Affectionate

This black and white cutie might be a bit shy at first, but once you earn his trust, get ready to be his favorite person! He gives his love wholeheartedly, he prefers when you are in the room, and LOVES being pet. He has his favorite spots, which he will let you know, and will lay on you and want to be pet for hours. He loves to be scratched, especially around his face and belly. While Probable Claws still has a slight fear of near people, his trust is easy to gain around those that spend time around him and dish out lots of pets and chin scritches!

Probable Claws is too busy getting all the pets to play with toys - he has low energy and would prefer to sleep and cuddle with his humans. When he does play, he likes to throw and chase a catnip mouse toy. He is not interested in wand toys or anything with bells.

Probable Claws does not vocalize at all other than his happy purrs when he is being pet! You may also hear him purring when you give him treats. He loves them!

Probable Claws' ideal home would have a calm environment. He loves people once he gets to know them, and would do well in a lower traffic place with people he knows and loves and who love him back!

Probable Claws has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Probable Claws can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
