Delightful, Entertaining, Warmhearted

Catty Corn should probably be called Catty the Cassanova, because he is such a lover! He loves to flop at your feet and roll around for attention. He will move mountains just to be able to reach your legs so that he can wind himself in and out of them. He's also one of the best and most loving headbutters you'll meet. He especially loves some good butt scritches, and they will get his purr motor going.

In addition to seeking out affection in the most adorable manners, Catty is intrigued by new friends and new toys. He especially loves a good scratching post, and also likes batting around balls and reaching for anything dangling from a wand toy.

Catty Corn is buddies with his APA! roommate, Freddie Meowcury (APA-A-101680), and they'd love to go home together! They seem to understand each other really well, often form a cuddle puddle and groom each other, and generally enjoy each other's company. Catty could do well in most homes, with a buddy or as an only cat, and we suspect based on his curiosity that he could do well with dogs, too!

Catty Corn has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Catty Corn can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care. Catty Corn also has mild gingivitis, and good dental habits and checks with a vet will be helpful for him.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
