Adorable. Playful. Affectionate.

Meet Cheeto! She's a sweet orange tabby with striking white eyeliner. Cheeto has a HUGE purr for such a tiny cat. She'll show it off while you cuddle or pet her super soft fur. Cheeto also enjoys cuddling at night and she's not going to make you feel bad about hitting the snooze button or sleeping in. Cheeto is purr-fectly happy to start her day with a good snuggle.

Cheeto's still getting acclimated to being a housecat, so at first she may dart under the bed or into one of her hidey holes, but she's only assessing the situation. She'll come right back out and ask for pets after a few seconds. Cheeto can almost always be lured out by the promise of playtime. She enjoys chasing spring toys and balls. She's even invented a game that combines her toys with her favorite places to nap - soft, cozy caves. Cheeto will drop her toy into a cave and then pounce on it. Quite inventive!

Another adorable thing about Cheeto is that she hasn't quite found her meow yet. Right now her attempts are kind of quiet and squeaky and so fitting for this petite princess.

What's the one thing Cheeto wants most for her forever home? A buddy! Cheeto would love a kitten pal. She's friendly with her foster's resident kitty and would love a playmate. Cheeto has been introduced to dogs and kids and would probably do well with both. It doesn't take much to make this darling girl happy. Come meet her today!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
