Snuggly, Trusting, Curious

Viking Queen looooooves to sit on your lap and get snuggles! When you are near her, she will reach up to you so that you can pick her up. So sweet!

Viking Queen is a blind kitten, and completely trusting! She loves her people and believes in us as much as we believe in her. Blind cats learn to navigate their environment by using their memory and superhero hearing - she will amaze you! She is always interested in something new, exploring the house, and curious about meeting the other kittens in her foster home.

Viking Queen is bonded with JPEG (APA! ID 101217), another kitten in her foster home; JPEG is not only her bestie and adopted sister, she is her "seeing eye cat!" While Viking Queen could be adopted without JPEG into a home with another gentle, kitten-friendly cat (VQ should not be an only cat), we would prefer that she and JPEG be adopted together. They love each other so much and have learned to depend on each other! These orphans had a really rough start in life - JPEG was significantly undersized - and they found each other in their foster home. It is so heart-warming to see them together! They are extra-special kittens who wouldn't have had a chance in life without APA!

And see both of them on Instagram! @allthekittiesfosters

It is possible that Viking Queen has some amount of vision, but we aren't sure yet; she might be able to see light and shadows. Her eyelids didn't form properly, so she is scheduled for surgery to improve that when she gets a little older. VQ's coat isn't as beautiful as it will be; she is being treated for ringworm and mange. These are both temporary conditions and will have no lasting effects. We can't wait to watch her come into her beauty; she's already made enormous progress!

The world is a better place with Viking Queen in it! Her loves shines brightly. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
