Gentle, Shy, Wants to be loved!

Marina is looking for a safe harbor to call home! She was abandoned by her previous humans and left to fend for herself, and our job is to show her that there are people who will love her, cherish her, and care for her forever! Because a deal is a deal; and this sweet girl will touch your heart.

Marina has blue eyes the color of the ocean on a sunny day! Those blue eyes indicate that she might have some Siamese in her lineage. She has a white coat with gray tabby markings, and the bold stripes around her pretty blue eyes are simply gorgeous.

Marina is a quiet and demure lady who is shy at the shelter. But she gives soft little purrs when you pet her, and will lean into pets when she feels safe; you just need to start off slowly and take your cues from this tender girl. Her ideal human is kind and patient with tentative cats, and will give Marina time to settle in and adjust to her new life.

Marina might be more interested in cuddling than playing, but she also might not be interested in playing because the shelter environment makes her cautious and nervous. She needs a quiet home!

If you are looking for a sweet companion cat and know the joys of being patient and earning the trust of a scared kitty, Marina might be the sweetie for you. You can tell that she wants to be loved, but she wants to make sure she is safe before she risks her heart again.

We are confident that with time, a calm home, and loving people, it will be clear sailing with beautiful Marina. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

Marina is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: http://bit.ly/2DPxI43

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
