Shy, cautious, curious

SayBabyIloveYou has such a unique coat, with long stripes down her back and beautiful black swirls along her sides.

SayBaby and her sister SomethinsGoinDown (APA! ID 102326) had a rough start in life. They were found as sick little outdoor kittens. They both beat panleukopenia and are now in a loving foster home, where they're beginning to learn that people might just be OK!

They are typical busy kittens when no one is looking. They bat toys around and play with each other. They are interested in wand toys but need to get to know you a bit before they're comfortable playing with you.

SayBaby and her sister do still hiss a lot, but they never try to scratch or bite. If you approach them slowly and talk gently, they'll accept pets and clearly enjoy them. These two sweeties just need time to fully adapt to living in a home with people. We haven't seen them with other cats, but shy kittens often blossom when they have another people-friendly kitty friend who can help teach them that people are good!

SayBaby and SomethinsGoinDown would likely be best adopted together! Their ideal human would be patient and willing to work with these sweet girls to provide socialization; they missed out on all that in their early kittenhood. We know they can turn the corner with gentle love. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
