Cautious, Cutie, Curious

Purrudence has a childlike wonder that gives her the advantage she needs to overcome her shyness!

She wants attention and love, but her cautiousness can sometimes prevent her from easily achieving that. When her foster brings her food, she darts away due to being "scared" but comes cautiously running back because she knows what lovely goods her foster brings. We must say, this girl is highly food motivated!

Purrudence likes to curiously watch people and observe their actions. When she opens up she enjoys batting toys around on the ground.

Purrudence is ready to find her new home; she just needs love, space, and time to settle in. Her ideal home has patient adopters who encourage interactions, but gently and slowly on her own terms.

Purrudence has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Purrudence can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
