Spunky, Playful, Lovebug

As soon as you walk into the room, Caturn will greet you with a sweet hello. She will then come racing to your side so she can promptly rub up against your leg. Caturn loves spending quality time with her people and will leap at any opportunity to be with you. In addition to enjoying her time with people, Caturn has done excellent around other feline friends.

When Caturn is not showering you in affection, she can be found playing somewhere in the house. She loves to race around, making use of her kitten spirit. After running a few laps, Caturn will begin to throw her toys around and chase after them. Her favorite toys are balls with bells; when she tosses them around, they make a jingling noise that she finds so fascinating! So, watch out this holiday season! If a few of your jingle bells go missing, you know who the culprit likely is. Caturn also enjoys watching birds in her free time, whether the birds are outside the window or on the TV!

Caturn usually channels her wild energy through appropriate manners, such as playing with toys and using the scratching post. However, she has been known to play a little too rough with rugs. With patience and a few gentle reminders, Caturn will learn that rugs are not toys for her to play with.

Caturn has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Caturn can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Say "Yes" for Sapphire this Giving Tuesday

Living as a stray, Sapphire was struck by a car. She was bleeding, writhing in pain from nerve damage and bruised ribs — and pregnant.
