Calm, Loving, Gentle

Hattie has been described as "squishy", meaning that she will squish herself right up against you to tell you how much she loves you! She loves people of all ages, even kids, as long as they are cat-respectful, and gently pet her and play with her. Once she is comfortable with you, she will seek your affection, rubbing against your leg or pushing her head under your hand to entice you to pet her.

Hattie is super sweet and quiet. She is shy in a new environment and around new people, but warms up when she realizes she's safe with you. She is a calm and gentle girl who wants nothing more than a peaceful home and a loving family.

Hattie likes the companionship of other nice cats, and would enjoy a sweet kitty friend. Right now she is sharing her foster home with another shy kitty, and they are doing fine and are well-suited to each other.

In a previous foster home Hattie even made herself right at home with the two big cat-friendly dogs! She would stand next to them as if they were just really big cats. One of the pups was crated overnight, and she would "play" with him by sticking her paw in the crate and then running off. Then she would come back and do it again; the pup was a good sport about it, and they both enjoyed that game.

Hattie doesn't enjoy travel and vet visits but is never aggressive about it. Instead, she just tucks herself into a ball until she's once again safe at home. She is a mellow and low-maintenance girl who would be a good addition to your pet family!

Hattie is a pretty girl with such a sweet face and kind heart; she is perfect for a tranquil, low-traffic home. If you're looking for a calm and cuddly sweetheart, contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
