Cuddly, Smart, Affectionate

Meowzel Tov absolutely loves for you to wrap him in a soft blankie and feed him squeezable cat treats! This guy knows how to live. His favorite pet spots are on the top of his head and on either side of his neck. Do any/all of this and he will be livin' the dream!

Meowzel will start out anxious and fearful in his new home, but give him time to settle in, and he will be calm, though still cautious for a while. His humans should be experienced with helping a shy cat relax, warm up, and come out of their shell. It's a special joy to watch a tender kitty blossom!

Meowzel may hiss at you for a while, but don't take it personally; he just wants to let you know that he sees you and still needs a little space and time to get to know you. A sure sign that Meowzel trusts you is no more hissing!

Meowzel is doing a great job in his foster home! He has shown intelligence and the depth of his personality. He snuggles every once in a while, and likes to have places where he can be by himself. He loves the kitty tunnel! And the aforementioned "burrito-ing" with a soft blankie or towel.

Give him a chance, and Meowzel Tov will surprise you! If you can give him love and be patient and gentle while he settles in, then get ready to be astonished and charmed by the unfolding of this gem-of-a-cat. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

Meowzel Tov has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Meowzel Tov can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
